UC Berkeley to use waitlists as part of freshman admissions process (UC Berkeley NewsCenter)

The Berkeley campus recently decided to wait-list some freshman applicants this year. Students who applied for fall 2010 admission will learn later this month whether they will be offered admission, denied admission, or offered a spot on the waitlist.
